On April 25, 2016 my husband's parents were married 65 years. We went to the Netherlands to celebrate this with them. They took pictures to celebrate this remarkable event (see photo with me, my husband and his parents).

Two months later his Mom passed away. Although we had just been to the Netherlands we booked tickets and flew back home for about ten days. My husband's father was devastated and it was difficult to say goodbye.

Three weeks ago he followed her after a fall and a short sickbed.

They are back together.
